THE OPPORTUNITY
Since 2019, and after years of PT, recovery, and downtime due to the pandemic, Drake has yet to tour Northern California. The good news is that this year, he’ll be nearby in Modesto on Sept. 27th, but that’s several hours away…
After speaking with Drake, he would love to visit and play for his friends in Gilroy. We’ve worked on a potential event concept with Drake, and he has extended a very generous offer to perform for us at a significantly discounted rate. With that, we are trying to gather interest from friends and self-fund a show for Drake White Live at Fernwood Cellars. No agencies, contracts, just a friendly show in between tour stops.
This would be an intimate show (150 people max) and a truly memorable experience. This is not a typical Fernwood winery event. Being a weekday and having a higher investment cost, we are approaching it differently. If we can garner enough interest to support it, we can green-light it and lock in the band and date.
We think this is an excellent opportunity for a magical night of music in Gilroy!
