THE OPPORTUNITY
Since 2019, and after years of PT, recovery, and downtime due to a stroke and the pandemic, Drake has not returned to Northern California. The good news is that this year, he’ll be nearby in California but hours away… and not Gilroy!
After speaking with Drake, he would love to visit and play for his friends in Gilroy. We’ve worked on an event concept with Drake, & he has extended a very generous offer to perform for us at a significantly discounted rate. With that, we are trying to gather interest from friends and self-fund a show for Drake White Live at Fernwood Cellars. A private, friendly show in between his tour stops in CA.
This would be an intimate show (150 people max) and a truly memorable experience. This is not a typical Fernwood winery event, but Matt has graciously offered to staff and host it. Being a weekday and having a higher investment cost, we are taking a unique approach. We are offering a limited number of VIP/Sponsor tickets to kick-start the event. Simply put, if we can garner enough interest to support it, we can green-light it and lock in the band and date.
We think this is an excellent opportunity for a magical night of music in Gilroy!
